Forms of payment
Los Caballos Veterinary Hospitals Inc. accepts payment via cash, check, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. In order to continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, payment for all appointments and emergencies are due at time of service, unless hospitalization is necessary or elective surgery is scheduled. You do not have to be present for the appointment/emergency, but payment arrangements must be made before we can tend to your animals.
New Clients:
If you are a new client or one we have not seen in over a year, and you are having an emergency, payment will be estimated based on the emergency and will need to be accounted for prior to responding.
For those of you who have your animals either stabled, boarded or housed at another facility in which you are unable to be present, we require a credit card on file to ensure payment in your absence.
Estimates:
We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. A range of estimated cost for each 24 hour period is given. A deposit equal to the low end of the estimate is required for treatment. You will receive daily notification as to the condition of your animal and the relative expenditures at that time. You will control the extent of treatment allowed by your budget and may discontinue treatment at any time if continued treatment is becoming a financial concern.
