Appointments:

We are open for scheduled appointments from:

  • Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm
  • Saturday - Sunday: Emergency Only

All emergencies will be given top priority.

We retain the right to reschedule routine appointments due to emergencies.

Appointments are made by calling the hospital  @ (951) 302-9000

Scheduled appointments are available in the hospital and in the field during regular business hours.

Due to the nature of veterinary medicine, all field appointments will be given a 2-hour window to allow for traffic  and unforseen emergencies.  We can not give a specific time for appointments, although we strive to keep you informed as to when we will be ther in our 2 hour window.  We appreciate your understanding and assistance on this issue.

*A no-show fee of $75 will be applied without 24hr notice of cancellation.

Emergency & Urgent Care:

Emergencies are accepted at all times. If you think your animal is experiencing an emergency, we consider it an emergency.  Call as soon as you suspect you are having an emergency.  The sooner the treatment, the better the chance of recovery.  Please do not wait and see how your animal will be tomorrow or after the weekend .  The wait and see method is often lethal.  We have a veterinarian that is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.   Please call before coming to the hospital. This allows our hospital staff to be made aware of your situation, your estimated time of arrival and we can advise you on your particular emergency.  Our personnel has been trained and equipped to handle any emergencies your animals have.  If you ever feel that your animal needs emergency treatment, do not hesitate to call our office immediately.  It is always better to call and not need our services than not to call and end up with a problem we cannot treat.

Farrier appointments:

Certified Farriers

We have certified farriers on staff to assist in our corrective and routine farrier work for all breeds and disciplines.  These farriers are available at the doctor's discretion in the hospital setting and unavailable for field services.  Our farriers are in the forefront in their field.  They are current on their continued education; incorporating the latest techniques and innovation.  Our farriers are routinely available at our hospital every Monday.  Our farriers are reserved for problem hooves and corrective shoeing as well as follow-up to procedures and surgeries performed at the hospital.  If your horse has a problem with their hooves, please call the hospital to schedule an appointment with our veterinarian and farriers to ensure proper hoof treatment and accurate farrier work.
