Orientation/First Day

     All students are expected to be here at 7:00 am SHARP. They will meet with the staff and have orientation.  A brief meeting will take place to go over the expectations of the students, the rules, and give the students a tour of the facility, including the bunk house.  At 8:30 am, they will participate in "Rounds" with the doctors and staff of LCVH, in which the doctors and staff go over each case in the hospital, so everyone is kept informed. 

  After the first day, students are expected  to meet with the doctors in time to participate in rounds and/or leave for ambulatory appointments.  Our practice consists of both ambulatory and hospital cases and students should be prepared for both. When going on ambulatory students need to be prepared for lunch, (sack lunch or have money to buy lunch on the road).
